My name is Tammy Payseno and I have close to 30 years experience working with children of all ages. Though I originally went to college for business, my heart and passion has always been to work with children. I have volunteered for 20 years in children’s ministries (nursery-youth), co-taught 3 to 5 year old’s at Creative Kids Preschool for five years, was Early Childhood Director and later Children’s Pastor at Real Life Church for 11 years and currently Assistant Director at Real Kids Learning. My desire is that every child would have the opportunity to experience a life full of wonder, joy and learning.
Hi! My name is Niki and I could say I was practically born into the early childhood field since my mom was a preschool teacher while I was growing up. I started working at a daycare at the age of 16 and have been working in this field for the last 10 years. I went to Renton Technical College for Early Childhood Education and received my AAS in Early Childhood studies. I love being able to have an early impact on a child that will help gear them up later for success in life. My favorite moments in working with kids are the funny things they say and watching them explore the world around them.
Hello! My name is Megan Cope, I’ve been involved in childcare for about 3 years. I’m so excited to be a part of the Real Kids team and being with the kids every day. Watching them grow up and go through challenges and learning life skills is one of the most rewarding things to see; especially when you’ve been working with them through those challenges. One of my favorite memories is when school was cancelled for a snow day. The kids slowly trickled in as parents dropped off and I remember that day feeling so special. We had the opportunity to have more one on one time with the kids; we made snow angels outside, tried to build a fort, had lots of inside games and activities. It was such a lovely day with our students, and one of my fondest memories.
My name is Malia and I’ve been working with children for about 5 years. I am currently a Green River College student and completing my degree in Early Childhood Education. To me, the most amazing thing is to see or hear your student apply a skill that you have worked with them on and see the excitement on their face. I love the opportunity to see and be a part of any child’s growth and accomplishments.
My name is Sarah and I have been working for RLK for a year and a half. Besides being a mother to three beautiful boys, I have eight years’ experience working with children ages infancy to school age. I began as a nanny, then worked at a large corporate childcare center and then a Montessori school. In addition, I have five years’ experience working with special needs children. I believe the most important skills to have when working with children are patience, empathy and love. I am honored to work with such a great group of teachers and staff here at Real Kids Learning.
My name is Reese Congleton. I have four years’ experience working with children at Real Life Church in the children’s and youth ministry. My passion for Early Childhood Education has grown tremendously, especially since I began working for Real Kids Learning. My favorite experience was during our Museum of Flight field trip where the children were soaking in all the information and having so much fun in the process. It brings my heart tremendous joy to teach, connect and build lasting relationships with every child.
Working with kids is an amazing experience! I take pride in the fact that I play a vital role in the lives of children in their season of development that will one day lead them into being the world changers they’re destined to be. It’s an honor and privilege to assist in guidance, whether in academics or practical ways. It’s truly a remarkable experience to listen to a child share their hopes of the future, whether a career or a better world, and being able to foster and encourage them to follow their dreams and make a difference.
